Electronic KYC

Verify a user against official government and trusted databases in seconds, with no ID document upload. In many markets, an ID number and a selfie are enough. Available in 70+ countries, with document verification as the fallback everywhere else.

Two digital identity verification cards side by side: The first card titled 'ID number check' for United States shows legal name Daniel Reyes, birth date June 2, 1991, address 1420 Pine St, Boulder, CO, last four SSN digits 4821, with a green checkmark and 'Verified in 2 seconds' highlighted. The second card titled 'Personal info check' for United Kingdom confirms name, date of birth, and address with matches from credit bureau and electoral roll sources, each marked with green checkmarks, plus badges stating '2+2 verified' and 'No document needed', noting two independent sources agreed without ID document request.

Asking for an ID photo is where onboarding stalls

AiPrise connects you to government and trusted databases in 70+ countries through one integration, so you verify against the source of truth and ask the user for as little as possible.

Users abandon at the photo

Users abandon at the photo

Users abandon when they have to find a passport, get the lighting right, and retake the photo three times.

A real document is not a real record

A real document is not a real record

Document checks confirm a document is real. They do not confirm the government has a record of this person.

Every country its own integration

Every country its own integration

Each country has its own authoritative database, its own identifier, and its own integration, so most teams only connect the one or two they cannot avoid.

[Problem]

Two ways to verify without a document

One integration covers both. AiPrise picks the method each market allows and steps up to a document only when it has to.

ID number based

ID number based

The user provides a national identifier: SSN, SIN, DNI, national ID, or BVN
AiPrise queries the authoritative source keyed to that identifier
Name, date of birth, and address held against it are confirmed
Real-time, structured result showing exactly which attributes matched
Best for
Markets with a strong national identifier and a government registry or bureau keyed to it.
Personal info based

Personal info based

No identifier required, only name, date of birth, and address
Matched against credit bureaus, electoral rolls, phone registers, and government data
Configurable 1+1 or 2+2 matching across independent sources
Fallback flows try the next source automatically when the first cannot confirm
Best for
The UK, most of Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, where obligations are met by corroborating data.
Document fallback

When a user is outside electronic coverage, or the data does not confirm them, the flow steps up to ID document capture and selfie in the same session. The user only sees the extra step when it is needed.

How it works

Every check ends in a clear outcome: verified, step up, or review, with the source recorded for audit.

01

Collect

The SDK asks for the identifier and details that apply in the user's country: name, address, and SSN4 in the US, name and date of birth in the UK, a national ID number in Spain. Pre-fill anything you already hold.

02

Verify

AiPrise queries the right source for that country and confirms the name, date of birth, and address held there, or corroborates them across the required number of databases. If the first source cannot confirm, the next one is tried.

03

Decide

You receive a structured result: which attributes were confirmed, the source used, and the data refresh date. Workflows approve, step up to a document, or route to review.
