Introducing Business Pre-fill: Onboard Businesses in 65+ Countries With Just Two Fields

Key Takeaways

Business Pre-fill turns a 20-field KYB form into 2 fields: business name and country.

Live in 65+ countries at launch, including the US, EU, UK, Singapore, and Australia, through one integration.

Application data comes straight from official registries, cutting typos, failed verifications, and RFI loops.

Pre-filled data flows directly into AiPrise KYB, UBO mapping, and AML screening, with mismatches surfacing as early fraud signals.

Today we're launching Business Pre-fill, a new AiPrise product that turns the long, error-prone business onboarding form into a two-field experience. An applicant enters their business name and country. AiPrise matches them to the official registry record and fills in the rest: legal name, entity type, registration number, registered address, incorporation date, and more.
Business Pre-fill is available today in 65+ countries, including the US, the EU, the UK, Singapore, and Australia, all through a single integration.
The onboarding form is where you lose good customers
If you onboard businesses, you already know the pattern. A qualified applicant lands on your signup flow, sees twenty fields asking for registration numbers, tax IDs, and registered addresses, and leaves. The ones who stay often get it slightly wrong: a typo in the registration number, a trading name instead of the legal name, an old address that no longer matches the registry.
Every one of those small errors becomes real cost downstream. Failed verifications. RFI emails asking the applicant to "please confirm your legal entity name." Analysts manually looking up registries to fix what the form got wrong. Days added to time-to-approve, on an applicant who was ready to convert on day one.
The problem gets worse the moment you cross a border. A founder in the US may not have their EIN memorized. A director in Germany has to know whether you want the HRB number or the tax number. Identifier formats change in every jurisdiction, and a form built for one country quietly breaks in the next sixty.
Industry data backs up what onboarding teams see every day: pre-filling application data has been shown to meaningfully cut abandonment and dramatically speed up onboarding. The fastest form is the one your applicant barely has to fill in.
What Business Pre-fill does
Business Pre-fill flips the onboarding form from "type everything" to "confirm everything."
- The applicant provides two data points. Business name and country. That's it.
- AiPrise finds the right entity. Our matching engine searches the official company registry for that jurisdiction, disambiguates between similarly named entities and trading names, and identifies the correct registered business.
- The form fills itself. Legal name, entity type, registration and tax identifiers, registered address, incorporation date, and where available, directors and ownership information are populated directly from the registry record.
- The applicant confirms instead of typing. One review, one click, done.
And if there's no confident match, the flow falls back gracefully to manual entry. Pre-fill can only make your conversion better, never worse.
Global is the hard part. It's also the point.
Pre-fill isn't a new idea. But nearly every business pre-fill product on the market today is built for one country: US Secretary of State filings plus IRS data. The moment your growth takes you across a border, you're back to the twenty-field form, or stitching together a different data vendor for every market.
Business Pre-fill is different because it's built on the same registry infrastructure that powers AiPrise's global KYB platform: direct access to official company registries and 100+ data sources covering 500M+ verifiable businesses worldwide.
That means the same integration pre-fills a Delaware LLC from state records, a German GmbH from the Handelsregister, a Singapore Pte Ltd from ACRA, and an Australian Pty Ltd from ASIC. One API, one flow, 65+ countries at launch, with more being added continuously.
Pre-fill and verification in one flow
Here's the structural advantage of doing pre-fill inside AiPrise rather than bolting a data vendor onto your verification stack: the pre-filled data doesn't stop at the form. It flows directly into KYB verification, UBO mapping, sanctions and AML screening, and document checks on the same platform.
That changes two things.
Verification gets faster and cleaner. Because the application data comes from the registry itself, it arrives pre-validated. Fewer mismatches, fewer failed checks, fewer RFI loops, and a single audit trail from first keystroke to final decision.
Fraud shows up earlier. When an applicant's claims diverge from the registry record, that delta is a signal. A business claiming to be a consulting firm that's registered as a money services business, or an applicant using a registration number that belongs to a different entity, gets flagged at the top of the funnel instead of after onboarding.
Who this is for
Business Pre-fill is built for anyone who onboards businesses at scale across borders: fintechs and neobanks opening business accounts, payment platforms onboarding merchants, marketplaces verifying sellers, lenders pre-filling underwriting applications, and payroll and HR platforms verifying employers.
If your applicants span more than one country, this is the difference between building and maintaining sixty onboarding forms and building one.
